Full Stack Web Developer

We’re looking for a talented Full Stack Web Developer who lives and breathes all things digital to join our dev team. We specialise in building ecommerce sites on the Shopify Plus platform. This is a rare opportunity to take your development skills to the next level whilst specialising in the most popular ecommerce platform around.

You will:

  • 5+ years for experience industry experience in full stack development with a strong portfolio of existing projects
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, Strong JS (either jQuery or native) is a must
  • SCSS or other Style pre-processors
  • Server Side Languages such as PHP, Node, .Net or Java
  • Strong understanding of AJAX/Fetch and the JSON Format
  • Experience with integrating third party APIs.
  • You keep up to date with emerging technologies and the latest best practices
  • You are a quick learner who is always looking to improve
  • Ability to draw upon pool of knowledge to find unique solutions to limitations
  • Write clean and efficient code
  • Provide mentoring to junior members of the Process team
  • Review technical specifications and APIs
  • Develop and document technical support documentation
  • Demonstrated experience in platform API design and development
  • Be able to provide accurate time estimates on work for the project management team
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently within a small team

Highly regarded:

  • Experience with Shopify and Liquid
  • Modern JavaScript Frameworks, particularly React, Redux, ES6
  • JS Transpilers and Bundlers, such as webpack, TypeScript, Babel
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Ability to write Unit Tests
  • Understanding of best web practices, such as BEM, ITCSS, schema.org and JSON-LD
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketch
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Experience with the command line
  • Can write vanilla JS without relying on frameworks such as jQuery
